In what can best be described as a show of Love, Companionship, Solidarity and Camaraderie were all on display on Thursday 4th July 2024 when the spouse of the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Dr. Hassan Muhammad Liman, MON, SAN, FciArb, Wakilin Lafian Bare-Bari, led his friends and professional colleagues on a congratulatory visit to his wife Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman.
The August visitors in July were warmly recieved in the Council Chamber of the Senate Building by the Vice-Chancellor herself and Principal Officers of the University.
Speaking on behalf of the friends and professional colleagues of Dr. Hassan Liman, Rotimi Oguneso SAN, and Ibrahim K. Bawa SAN, in their separate remarks extolled the virtues of Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman as an astute administrator and devoted housewife who has all it takes to turn around the fortunes of the University, while pledging to support the Vice-Chancellor in her new task, they prayed to Almighty God to give her the wisdom and resilience to lead the University to greater heights.
Responding, the visibly elated Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman while thanking the guests for the visit, described the day as one of her happiest since assuming office, stressing that the visit has further strengthened her will and desire to put in more effort to see that she delivers on the mandate given to her, promising that “Insha Allah I will not disappoint you”.
In their own remarks, the Deputy Vice-Chancellors of Academic, Administration and the Registrar all pledged to rally support for the Vice-Chancellor in her bid to turn around the University and position it for greatness.
On the entourage of Dr. Hassan Liman were Ishaka Mudi Dikko, SAN, Mathew Burkaa, SAN, M.S Diri, SAN, Yahaya D. Dangana, SAN, Mohammed Biu Usman, Esq, Sarafa Yusuf, Esq, Adokwe Adams Adokwe, Esq, Sadiq El Yakub, Esq, Alhassan Dauda, Esq, Umar Usman Kolos, Esq, Abdullahi Hassan Liman, Esq, Abdulrahman L. Diri, Esq, Solomon O. Abdulkadir, Esq, and a bosom friend of the family, Alhaji Jibrin Ibrahim, Prince of Umaisha.
The visit was climaxed with the presentation of souvenirs to the visitors by the Vice-Chancellor.
