The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan has assured that the Pyanku Campus and every other part of the University will receive adequate attention from her administration.
The Vice-Chancellor gave the affirmation after an on the spot assessment of infrastructures at the Pyanku Campus of the University on Tuesday 28th May 2024.
Professor Sa’adatu who addressed staff and students of the campus after an extensive tour of the campus which took her and her entourage to the hostels, library, laboratories, lecture halls and clinic noted the various challenges encountered by the students and promised that very soon relief will come their way, stressing that she has already given immediate approval for some works to commence so as to provide relief to the students.
 
The Vice-Chancellor after a visit to both the male and female hostels admonished the students on their personal hygiene and the general cleanliness of their hostels and immediate surroundings, noting that cleanliness is next to Godliness.
It will be recalled that the Pyanku Campus was the first administrative headquarters of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, before its relocation to the main campus, the campus currently houses the Preliminary Studies and Centre for Continuing Studies of the University
On the entourage of the Vice-Chancellor were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Professor Theophilus Daniel Lagi, the Bursar Mallam Murtala Abubakar Kana, the Director of Physical Planning, Engr. Ahmed Liman, the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Joshua Magaji, the Chief Security Officer Lt.Col. John Aboh Rtd, Director of Works, ESV, Jibrin Mairiga and the Information and Protocol Officer, Dr. Abraham Habu Ekpo.
