In a significant push for the internationalization of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Vice-Chancellor Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman on Thursday, 9th October, 2025, undertook a series of strategic visits to prominent Polish universities.

The visits, conducted in furtherance of her internationalization agenda, were: Jagiellonian University in Krakow (a historic institution with approximately 750 years of history); the University of Agriculture in Krakow; and the University of Silesia in Katowice (a new partner institution).
At all three institutions, the Vice-Chancellor sought to establish and extend both specialized and general inter-university collaborations.

Durung the visit, Professor Liman pursued partnerships across a diverse range of disciplines, including Women’s Rights, Polar Studies, Medical Geology, Health Economics, European Studies, Public Management, Multiculturalism, Economic Policy, Biotechnology, and Forestry.

Crucially, the VC also sought to expand the scope of cooperation at each partner institution to include key mobility and funding initiatives; Faculty Exchange, Virtual Tutelage, Erasmus+ Mobility, NAWA Scholarships, and UNESCO Fellowships.

These engagements reinforce NSUK’s commitment to providing global opportunities for its staff and students, as well as further cementing its position on the international academic map.
