Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, the Vice-Chancellor and “Sweet Mother” of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has engaged in a successful outreach to the University’s alumni members across Poland, furthering her vision to enhance Alumni Affairs.
Traveling to cities including Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice, Wroclaw, and Zielona Gora, the Vice-Chancellor celebrated the alumni for their excellence and quality representation of the NSUK Brand in the global space.
The Vice-Chancellor noted that the growing population of successful scholars abroad is essential for maintaining a robust stream of opportunities for future NSUK graduates.
Professor Liman particularly highlighted the achievements of several distinguished alumni: Mr. Wisdom Utega; NSUK’s first Erasmus+ scholar, who now works for a top financial firm in Europe. He presented a 5-pointer certificate to the Vice-Chancellor. Dr. Joseph Gbubele: Secured a PhD. in Medicinal Chemistry and is currently employed by one of the top 10 multinational corporations in Poland.
Mr. Uzeru: An award-winning scholar and lecturer in Chemistry. Mr. Kabiru: A top scholar and lecturer in the Faculty of Agriculture, who also serves as the Alumni President in Poland.
This strategic engagement underscores NSUK’s commitment to leveraging its global network for the benefit of the institution and its current students.
