As the initiator of Africa’s first Institute of European Studies, Nasarawa State University, Keffi’s Director of Linkages and International Cooperation, Dr. K’tso Nghargbu visited Professor Zdzislaw Mach, the founding Director of the Institute of European Studies at the 748-year-old Jagiellonian University, Poland 🇵🇱.
The visit aimed to deepen ties and seek mentorship for the Brunon Holyst Institute of European Studies🇪🇺 at NSUK.

Professor Mach, author of Poland’s European Studies curriculum, pledged collaboration on joint programs and hybrid curriculum development to facilitate knowledge sharing between Africa 🌍 and Europe 🇪🇺.
The visit marks a significant milestone in NSUK’s efforts to establish itself as a leading institution for European Studies in Africa. The partnership with Jagiellonian University will provide opportunities for faculty and student exchange, joint research and curriculum development.
