








Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has commenced the digitization of all Ph.D dissertations and theses from its School of Postgraduate Studies.
This significant development was announced by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, during a dinner organized by the Class of 2023/2024 Ph.D Students of the Department of Business Administration in Abuja over the weekend.
Professor Sa’adatu, who is a Fellow of UNESCO, ACLS, and FIIP, highlighted that the digitization initiative will enhance the global visibility of NSUK’s doctoral research. She stressed the importance of originality in their academic pursuits, urging students to avoid plagiarism and to strive for meaningful contributions that will positively impact the nation.
The Vice-Chancellor who also thanked the students for donation of solar power set to the Department encouraged them to embrace skill acquisition, innovate, invent, and be impactful to society.
Earlier in the evening, Dr. Ahmed Abdullahi Ibrahim, the Head of the Department of Business Administration, described the 2023/2024Ph.D class as “Pace Setters.” He challenged them to remain diligent, emphasizing that much work lay ahead.
The highlight of the event was a thought-provoking lecture delivered by Professor Andrew Zamani, an erudite Professor of Clinical Psychology and Director of the Institute of Governance and Development Studies at NSUK. His lecture, titled “21st Century Ph.D Holder, Capabilities, Expectations & Deliverables,” provided valuable insights to the aspiring doctoral graduates.
