The Faculty of Education, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, on Tuesday 22nd October 2024, held its 1st International Conference themed “CURRICULUM REFORMS IN A TECHNOLOGY DRIVEN WORLD: Implications for Education in Developing Economies.”

The ceremony which was declared open by the Vice-Chancellor represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration Professor Theophilus Daniel Lagi had Professor Ruby Hanson of the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, as the Keynote Speaker, while Professor Uchenna Nzewi of the Faculty of Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Dr Garba D. Gandu of the Nigerian Research and Development Council (NERDC), Sheda-Abuja served as lead paper presenters.

One of the highlights of the opening ceremony was the presentation of awards for sustained service of educational development to the Vice-Chancellor Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman FELLOW: UNESCO, ACLS, FIIFPN and former Vice-Chancellor Professor Muhammad Akaro Mainoma mni, other awardees under the same category are the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Administration, former Deans of the Faculty, and Heads of Department amongst many others.
