It is concerned with the information, design implementation and monitoring of land use plans, policies at Local, Urban and Regional levels, and Environmental management through information technology and entrepreneurship for effective development.
It is a broad-based discipline, requiring a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge, therefore requires a comprehensive education and training in the planning, design and management of the total environment.
