NSUK SEEKS COLLABORATION WITH DSA.
The Nasarawa State University, Keffi, is seeking a strategic collaboration with the Defence Space Administration. These and other issues dominated discussions when the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed led a delegation of the top management staff of the University on a courtesy visit to the Headquarters of the Defence Space Administration Abuja, on Wednesday. Professor Suleiman stated that the University is seeking a sustainable partnership in terms of research, capacity building and development specially focused on the mission and operations of the agency. He said the University has gained vast experience in the areas of cyber operations, data analytics, robotics, internet optics and others which are changing modern defence that will further advance the mission of the agency. Responding, the Chief of Defence Space Administration, Rear Admiral Nnamdi A. Muogilim affirmed that Nasarawa University Keffi, is ranked amongst the top Universities in Nigeria. He stated that the pedigree the Centre for Cyberspace Studies and Institute of Governance and Development Studies have has made them worthy partners for strategic developmental collaborations. High point of the visit was the exchange of souvenirs by the two chief executives. On the delegation from the University were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Administration, the Registrar, the Directors of Centre for Cyberspace Studies, Institute of Governance and Development Studies, Linkages and International Cooperation and the Information and Protocol Officer.
