The Nasarawa State University, Keffi has won a Two Hundred and Fifty Million Naira grant for infrastructure projects from the Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) for the year 2022.
According to the letter of award addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, the ASR Africa Tertiary Education Grant Scheme is an intervention initiative targeted at sustainably impactful interventions in education in Africa.
The letter signed by the MD/CEO ASR Africa Ubon Udoh further stated that the grant is part of the efforts of the Chairman of BUA Group, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu to give back to the African Continent and make a lasting impact on education as a means of uplifting and restoring the dignity and lives of Africans.
Mr. Udoh explained that the award is also in recognition of the quality of service delivered by the University and the pedigree of its graduands nationally and internationally.
Nasarawa State University, Keffi, with this award has joined the league of over 20 Federal, State, and Private owned Universities that will benefit from the 5.5 Billion Naira grant from the ASR Tertiary Education Grants for the year 2022.
