Tuesday 5th May, 2026 marked a remarkable and impactful moment for JCIN NSUK as we proudly hosted the National Vice President (North East D1) of JCI Nigeria JCIN Amb. Olutunbi Banto and Collegiate Vice-Chairperson (CVC North East) on an official supervisory visit to our Local Organization.

The visit was aimed at assessing our activities on campus, encouraging members, and strengthening the relationship between JCI and the University community. It was indeed a productive and inspiring engagement.

During their visit, the National Vice President and the CVC paid a courtesy call to key principal officers of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, appreciating their continuous support and commitment to the growth of JCIN NSUK. Those he met include:
• Prof. Abdullahi Muhammed (Prof. Amola) – Patron, JCIN NSUK
• Dr. Mrs. Rebecca Atama – Students Affairs Officer
• Mr. Ja’afar Abdullahi – Head, Information and Protocol Unit
• Dr. S.Y. Kpalo – Staff Adviser

In a further step towards expanding the impact of JCI, the National Vice President also visited Lincoln University, where he engaged with the Students Affairs Officer on the possibility of establishing a JCI Local Organization within the institution.

As a gesture of goodwill, the Head of Information and Protocol Unit presented the National Vice President with a school souvenir on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, symbolizing appreciation and partnership.

This visit has undoubtedly strengthened our resolve to continue making meaningful impact within and beyond our campus.
