The Nasarawa State University Alumni Association Worldwide under the able leadership of the Global President Barr. Nuhu J Egya has announced its 2026 Delegates Conference and General Assembly, scheduled to hold on June 19 and 20 at the main campus of Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

In a statement signed by National Public Relations Officer, God’spower Ede, the association said the event will bring together Board of Trustees, Congress members, and registered alumni chapters from across the globe under the theme: “Legacy to Leadership: Empowering the Next Generation of NSUK.”

The statement noted that, the conference opens on Friday, June 19, 2026, with delegates’ arrival and visitation to key dignitaries, including His Royal Highness Alh. Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa III, Emir of Keffi and Pro-Chancellor of NSUK; Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman; and Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, Visitor to NSUK.

Accordingly, Saturday, June 20, 2026, will feature delegates’ registration and the General Assembly, followed in the evening by an Alumni Barbecue and Gala Night.

All activities will take place at the Abdullahi Adamu Alumni Secretariat, NSUK Keffi.

The association said the gathering will review the state of the association, adopt a 2026–2028 strategic plan and constitute committees, launch the NSUK Alumni Endowment Fund, strengthen partnerships with the university and Nasarawa State Government, and foster unity among alumni chapters worldwide.

Consequently, all registered alumni are welcome as observers. Delegates must be fully registered before the General Assembly on June 20. Chapter chairmen are to submit the names of their chapter delegates to the National Secretariat not later than June 15, 2026. Only registered chapters that have complied with the Alumni Constitution will be admitted, and members must have up-to-date annual dues to qualify for participation.
