
NSUK Strengthens Nigeria–Turkey Academic Relations with Landmark Partnership with Istanbul Nişantaşı University




In a significant stride towards deepening international academic collaboration, Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Istanbul Nişantaşı University, Türkiye, further advancing the University’s global engagement and internationalisation agenda.
The agreement, facilitated during the Vice-Chancellor’s ongoing international academic mission to Türkiye, establishes a broad framework for collaboration in Medicine, Engineering, Architecture, Health Sciences, Art and Design, Applied Sciences, Administrative and Social Sciences, as well as Vocational Studies.
The partnership will foster academic excellence through a wide range of collaborative initiatives, including joint research and publications, international conferences, Erasmus+ mobility programmes, staff and student exchange schemes, academic capacity building, and other mutually beneficial educational and research activities.
The latest agreement further reinforces NSUK’s growing international profile and reflects the unwavering commitment of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, to positioning the University as a globally connected institution of higher learning. Through her visionary leadership and proactive internationalisation drive, NSUK continues to build strategic partnerships that expand opportunities for students, academics, and researchers while promoting cross-cultural understanding and knowledge exchange.
This landmark collaboration represents yet another milestone in strengthening academic relations between Nigeria and Türkiye, opening new frontiers for innovation, research, and sustainable institutional development.
