The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, on Monday, 22 June 2026, received the newly appointed Registrar of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Kogi State, Dr. Glory Yakubu Ojochuku, on a courtesy and understudy visit to the University.

Welcoming the delegation, Professor Liman congratulated Dr. Ojochuku on her appointment and expressed delight that the new Registrar is a proud alumna of NSUK. She commended her decision to undertake the understudy visit, describing it as a strategic and commendable effort aimed at building a strong administrative foundation for her institution.

The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of continuous learning and collaboration among higher institutions, noting that “there is no monopoly of knowledge.” She encouraged Dr. Ojochuku to continually seek and adopt best practices from universities across Nigeria and beyond.

Professor Liman assured the visiting team that the NSUK Registry, under the leadership of the University’s Registrar, would provide the necessary support and guidance to ensure a fruitful understudy experience. She further expressed optimism about strengthening institutional ties between NSUK and CUSTECH and wished the delegation a successful and rewarding visit.

Speaking during the engagement, the Registrar of NSUK, Dr. Bala I. Ahmed II, described the visit as an opportunity for the CUSTECH delegation to benefit from the University’s wealth of administrative experience. He assured the visitors of the Registry’s full cooperation and commitment to providing all relevant information required for the success of the understudy programme.

In her remarks, Dr. Glory Yakubu Ojochuku expressed appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor and principal officers of the University for the warm reception accorded her team. She explained that the visit was designed to understudy NSUK’s administrative system, particularly its organisational structure, registry operations, staff designation framework, and career development processes, which she noted would serve as valuable models for strengthening administrative efficiency at CUSTECH.

The visit featured the presentation of NSUK souvenirs to Dr. Ojochuku by the Vice-Chancellor, as well as a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
