The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, has made a passionate appeal to the Council for Legal Education for the allotment of more slots to accommodate the number of law graduates from the University.
The Vice-Chancellor made the appeal when he received the leadership of the council in his office on Tuesday.
Professor Mohammed informed the Council that the Faculty of Law now has a moot court, a befitting structure that houses the Law Library, complemented by online and offline materials and up-to-date subscription to international journals, amongst other innovations, expressed optimism that his request will get a favourable consideration.
In his remark, the Director-General of the Council for Legal Education, Professor Isah Hayatu Chiroma, thanked the University management for receiving them warmly.
He said they were in the University to assess facilities in the Faculty of Law to ensure that they met the required standards.
Professor Hayatu promised to forward the request to the leadership of the Council for further consideration.
The DG was accompanied on the visit by Dr. Hassan Liman SAN, an adjunct lecturer in the Faculty of Law NSUK, the Secretary to the Council, the Librarian and Director, Head of Records of the Council.
