The Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nigerian Environmental Regulations and Enforcement Agency, NESREA, to collaborate in joint research, exchange of staff, human resources training, joint workshops, amongst others.
The signing ceremony took place at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja, recently.
The Director-General of the agency, Professor Aliyu Jauro, said the MoU will open a new chapter of the relationship between the two highly placed institutions.
On his part, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, appreciated the Director-General for his public lecture at the University to commemorate World Environment Day.
Professor Mohammed assured that the MoU would be of mutual benefit to the two institutions and promised to set up a committee to give life to the terms of the pact.
