As part of its corporate social responsibilities, the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has donated a desktop computer and a printer to the Angwan Lambu Police Station to help digitise and ease the secretarial duties in the station.
At a brief ceremony which took place at the Police Station on Monday, the Information and Protocol Officer of the University, Mr Abraham Ekpo, who presented the Equipment on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, said the donation was in furtherance of an earlier promise he made to provide a Desktop Computer and Printer to help with the administrative and secretarial work in the station.
Receiving the equipment, the Angwan Lambu Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Mr Mbai Shedrack Duwi, thanked the University Management for the donation promising to put the equipment to reasonable use.
Mr Duwi extolled the selfless efforts and doggedness of the Vice-Chancellor in the upgrading of the station from an Outpost to a full-fledged Police station, and the donation of a vehicle which he said has eased operational duties in the police station.
