The Vice-Chancellor of the Nasarawa State University Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, has sought the collaboration of the Mining and Cadastre Office, and the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency with the Department of Geology and Mining to deepen industry-academia cooperation.
The Vice-Chancellor made this call recently when he paid a working visit to the two agencies in Abuja.
At the Mining and Cadastre Office, the Vice-Chancellor and his team were received by the Director-General of the agency, Engr. Obadiah Simon Nkom and his Management staff.

The Comrade Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed has restated his commitment to uphold the aspirations and welfare of his staff and ensure that trade unions in the University work with management in harmony.
He stated this while declaring open the 40th Regular National Executive Council Meeting of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) hosted by the NSUK branch of the association on Thursday at the Assembly Hall of the University.

The newly inaugurated officials of the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities, ASUU Nasarawa State University, Keffi Chapter, have been charged to carry members along in their decision-making process to give everyone a sense of belonging.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, made the call when the new ASUU executives paid him a courtesy call in his office on Monday.
Professor Mohammed congratulated the Associate Professor Sam Alu-led Exco on their victory, saying their success after rounds of runoff shows their popularity.
