We Need More Slots to Accommodate Our Law Graduates, VC Appeals to Council for Legal Education

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, has made a passionate appeal to the Council for Legal Education for the allotment of more slots to accommodate the number of law graduates from the University.
The Vice-Chancellor made the appeal when he received the leadership of the council in his office on Tuesday.

Courtesy Visit.

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed on Monday received in audience the Vice-Chancellor of Nile University of Nigeria, Prof Osmon Nuri Aras, in his office.
Discussions on the visit centred on the need for collaboration and synergy between the two institutions.
Professor Osmon was accompanied on the visit by the Registrar of Nile University of Nigeria, Mr. Yasar Aktekin, and Mr. Emirv Yildiz and Suleiman Muhammed of NUSRET Educational Foundation, a Turkish Educational Support organization.

NDLEA To Take Drug War to Universities.

In its bid to bring an end to the incessant abuse of hard drugs and narcotic substances in Nigerian Universities, the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) is planning to take the war on drugs to Nigeria's tertiary institutions.
This disclosure was revealed by the Chairman/ Chief Executive of the Nigerian Anti Narcotic Agency Brigadier-General Muhammad Buba Marwa when the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, paid him a courtesy call in his office in Abuja on Thursday.

Polish Government deepens ties with NSUK.

The Polish Government, through her Ambassador to Nigeria, Her Excellency Joanna Tarnawska, has restated the country's willingness to deepen existing ties with the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
The Ambassador was a guest of the University on Wednesday, where she delivered a lecture titled: "Linkages, International Cooperation, Diplomatic Protocols, and Ethics: A Key to Internationalization of Academic Institutions in Nigeria" at the University's Senate Chamber.

NSUK, NSCDC SYNERGISE ON SECURITY • Zonal outpost to be established in NSUK

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) will establish a Zonal Outpost at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
The Commandant General of NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni, revealed this when the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Prof. Suleiman Bala Mohammed, paid him a congratulatory/collaborative visit at the organisation's headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday.

NSUK THEATRE ARTS DEPT SHINES AT NUTAF 2021

The Theatre Arts Department of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, won gold in the Narrative Dance category at the just-concluded National Universities Theatre Arts Festival (NUTAF) at the Gregory University, Uturu, Abia State.
The Dean Faculty of Arts, Professor Gideon Omachonu, accompanied by the Head of Department, Dr. Suru Damisa, presented the trophy and other laurels won by the NSUK contingent to the Vice-Chancellor on Wednesday.
