




The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed has admonished matriculating students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Shabu- Lafia Campus to be good ambassadors of the University by eschewing acts that will dent their image and that of the University.
The Vice-Chancellor gave the admonishment on Thursday while addressing newly matriculated at the Shabu-Lafia campus of the University.
Represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Professor Haruna Kuje Ayuba, the Vice-Chancellor while urging the students to join the fight against Unethical conduct in the University by shunning all forms of corruptive tendencies also advised them to start early academic preparation to enable them to graduate with excellent grades.
While noting the challenges faced by Students of the Faculty in terms of hostel accommodation, the professor informed them that a Public Private Partnership arrangement between the University and a Private organization is underway to build students’ hostels in the Faculty.
The Vice-Chancellor also paid glowing tributes to the Deanery of the Faculty for the way and manner they have been running the Faculty, describing it as a shining example for others to emulate from.
The high point of the ceremony was the administration of the Matriculation oath by the representative of the Registrar Mr. John Danladi Efuna.
