






In its continuous drive to strengthen collaborations with Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), the management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), on Thursday, 17th October, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Hon. Engr. Abubakar Momoh.
Leading the University delegation, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Halima Aliyu Doma-Kutigi congratulated the Minister on his landmark appointment and commended his visionary leadership in shaping Regional Development Commissions to drive national growth and cohesion.
She also lauded the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for establishing the Ministry, describing it as a strategic catalyst for socio-economic progress across all regions of the country. Dr. Doma-Kutigi further expressed the University’s readiness to partner with the Ministry in advancing its developmental agenda through academic and research collaborations.
In his response, Hon. Abubakar Momoh appreciated the university management for the visit, noting that such engagements would further strengthen the relationship between the Ministry and the institution. He assured that the Ministry would explore avenues to support the university, particularly in the areas of skill acquisition through its Entrepreneurship Development Centre, and initiatives on alternative energy.
The visit was rounded off with the presentation of the University’s souvenir to the Honourable Minister and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
