2014/15 UNDERGRADUATE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Returning Students
Registration Period: 13th October, 2014 – 25th October, 2014.
Late Registration (Additional Fees of N5,000.00k): 27th – 31st October, 2014.
Please note that the Portal will be closed by mid night 31st October, 2014 and students will only be able to check registered courses. Any add and drop of courses must be done within this registration period. Failure to register within this registration period will amount to forfeiting the Academic Session.
All spill-over students should also make sure they register within this period as no further registration will be allowed after this period.
 
Steps for Registration
 

  1. Paying School Fees

Student on arrival should visit; www.nsuk.edu.ng , under Current Students tab, click on Pay School Fees. Wait for the page to load. Read the instructions carefully and at the end of the page, click on Pay Fees Now. Again, wait for the page to load and Enter your Matriculation Number, and click on Get Fee Details. The fees due for your Student category will be displayed. Download and Print a copy of the Payment Invoice and take it to any branch of the designated bank below:

Note: You will be required to pay additional fees of

  1. Portal Access and Internet Charges = 2,000
  2. Transaction Charges  = 300

Upon successful payment at the bank, you will be given a payment slip which contains a confirmation number. Return to the portal with this and follow the procedure above. Select the e-tranzact Pin Vending option and click on pay fees. This will take you to a page, enter the confirmation number and click on verify. After your payment has been verified, you will be required to print your school fees receipt and also a PIN will be automatically generated for you with which you will be required to use in Step 2 below.

  1. Profile Update and Course Form Registration

Still on www.nsuk.edu.ng, select Portal Login under Current Students use the combination of your Matriculation Number and the PIN obtained after your payment has been successfully verified and school fees receipt printed. Login and update your profile, also register all your required courses as the case may be.
Note: Please, make sure you keep your PIN as it will be required for your session long access to the Portal
 
New Students (Freshers)
Registration Period: 13th October, 2014 – 25th October, 2014.
Late Registration (Additional Fees of N5,000.00k): 27th – 31st October, 2014.

Note: For Students admitted for 2013/14 that have been screened, proceed to Step 2.

  2. The students should proceed to any branch of the banks listed below and make a payment of 3,000 (Three Thousand Naira Only). Students are to note that the payment will be done through e-tranzact payment platform and an additional transaction fee of 300 (Three hundred Naira) will be required at the bank to complete the transaction (please, insist that your payment be processed using your UTME/DE registration number). You will be given a print out alongside a copy of your payment teller. Please, keep this because you will be required to use the confirmation order on the print out to access your screening form and admission letter after 24 hours of payment.

Students are to note that the Payment closes alongside the registration period.

  1. After 24hrs of payment (effective from 13th of October, 2014.), log on to https://nsuk.edu.ng/prospective-students/downloads , select Undergraduate, enter your UTME/DE registration number (as it appears on the Admission List) and Confirmation order (as it appears on the print out given to you at the bank). If your payment is confirmed successfully, you are to print your Screening form and Admission Letter.

 
iii. Proceed to your department with the following alongside your Admission Letter and Screening Form: a. UTME/DE Slip

  1. Original Copies of all credentials and Indigene Certificate c. Ten (10) recent Passport-sized photographs d. Prelim Examination Result (for those admitted through prelim only).

Note:
Make sure you are properly screened at the Department, Faculty before proceeding to the Academic Office at the Administrative Block for Final Clearance, and Paying of School Fees.

  1. Paying School Fees

After you have been cleared, visit; www.nsuk.edu.ng , under Current Students tab, click on Pay School Fees. Wait for the page to load. Read the instructions carefully and at the end of the page, click on Pay Fees Now. Again, wait for the page to load and Enter your UTME/DE Registration Number, and click on Get Fee Detail. The fees due for your Student category will be displayed. Download and Print a copy of the Payment Invoice and take it to any branch of the designated bank below listed above

NB: Please, make sure you are properly screened before paying fees as there will be no refund after payment has been made.
Please, make sure you keep your PIN as it will be required for your session long access to the Portal

All categories of students are expected to proceed to IT Centre to obtain Log in details, with which they will access the Internet after 24th of November, 2014.
