Undergraduate Admission List for 2012/2013 Academic Session


The admission list for undergraduates seeking to enroll into the 2012/2013 academic session is now out. To view the lists, go to the Nasarawa State University website, and follow Prospective Students >>  2012/2013 Admission List.
The page lists all the school’s faculties and prospective students are expected to click the faculty to which their course of choice belongs to view the admission list.
The admission lists come in a portable document format (pdf) hence, candidates may wish to download/print the files for reference purposes and proceed to the registration process immediately.

Detailed Online Registration Procedures for Undergraduate Students


Returning Students

Registration Period: 10th December, 2012 – 6th January, 2013
Late Registration (Additional Fees of N5,000.00k): 7th – 13th January, 2013
Please note that the Portal will be closed by mid night 13th January, 2013 and returning students will only be allowed to check registered course. Any add and drop of courses must be done within this registration period. Failure to register within this registration period will amount to forfeiting the Academic Session.
All spill-over student should also make sure they register within this period as no school fees payment will be allowed after this period.
Steps for Registration
1. Paying School Fees
Student on arrival should visit; www.nsuk.edu.ng, under Current Students tab, click on Pay School Fees. Wait for the page to load. Read the instructions carefully and at the end of the page, click on Pay Fees Now. Again, wait for the page to load and Enter your Matriculation Number, and click on Get Fee Detail. The fees due for your Student category will be displayed. Download and Print a copy of the Payment Invoice and take it to any branch of the designated bank below:
  1. UBA
  2. Diamond Bank
  3. Ecobank PLC
  4. First Bank
  5. Unity Bank
  6. Mainstreet Bank
  7. Keystone Bank
  8. FCMB
  9. Zenith Bank
Note: You will be required to pay additional fees of
i. Portal Access and Internet Charges = 2,000
ii. Transaction Charges  = 300
Upon successful payment at the bank, you will be given a payment slip which contains a confirmation number. Return to the portal with this and follow the procedure above. Select the e-tranzact Pin Vending option and click on pay fees. This will take you to a page, enter the confirmation number and click on verify. After your payment has been verified, you will be required to print your school fees receipt and also a PIN will be automatically generated for you with which you will be required to use in Step
2. Profile Update and Course Form Registration
Still on www.nsuk.edu.ng, select Portal Login under Current Students use the combination of your Matriculation Number and the PIN obtained after your payment has been successfully verified and school fees receipt printed. Login and update your profile, also register all your required courses as the case may be.
Please, make sure you keep your PIN as it will be required for your session long access to the Portal

New Students (Freshers)

Registration Period: 7th – 13th January, 2013
Late Registration (Additional Fees of N5,000.00k): 14th – 20th January, 2013
Please note that the Portal will be closed by mid night 20th January, 2013 and returning students will only be allowed to check registered course. Any add and drop of courses must be done within this registration period. Failure to register within this registration period will amount to forfeiting the Academic Session.
Steps for Registration
1. Student on arrival should visit University Website: www.nsuk.edu.ng , under the Prospective Students Tab, click on Downloads.
Select Undergraduates and Enter your UTME/DE Registration Number and press enter.
You will be required to print your Admission Letter and the Clearance Form.
2. Proceed to your department with the following alongside your Admission Letter and Clearance Form:
i. UTME/DE Slip
ii. Original Copies of all credentials and Indegene Certificate
iii. Ten (10) recent Passport-sized photographs
iv. Prelim Examination Result (for those admitted through prelim only).
3. Make sure you are properly screened at the Department, Faculty before proceeding to the Academic Office for Signing.
4. Paying School Fees
After you and be cleared, visit; www.nsuk.edu.ng, under Current Students tab, click on Pay School Fees. Wait for the page to load. Read the instructions carefully and at the end of the page, click on Pay Fees Now. Again, wait for the page to load and Enter your UTME/DE Registration Number, and click on Get Fee Detail. The fees due for your Student category will be displayed. Download and Print a copy of the Payment Invoice and take it to any branch of the designated bank below:

Still on www.nsuk.edu.ng, select Portal Login under Current Students use the combination of your UTME/DE Registration Number and the PIN obtained after your payment has been successfully verified and school fees receipt printed. Login and update your profile, also register all your required courses as the case may be. Print every other required form including your Student Information Form.
NB: Please, make sure you are properly screened before paying fees as there will be no refund after payment has been made.

All categories of students are expected to proceed to IT Centre to obtain Log in details, with which they will access the Internet after 21st of January, 2013.
